THEORY OF INDUSTRIAL ORGANIZATION studies:
• ways of emerging, boundaries, mechanisms and peculiarities of markets’ operating;
• strategies of competitive behaviour of firms under imperfect competition;
• objectives, ways and consequences of state intervention in markets.
The course provides students with the knowledge and tools for development of marketing and management strategies of firms, as well as sectoral economic policy of the government.
