Course Prerequisites: Understanding of the theoretical foundations and principles of marketing activities

Marketing research is aimed at:
• mastering theoretical material and acquiring practical skills in conducting marketing research of the market for goods and services;
• substantiation of the importance of information in the field of marketing research and its impact on the effectiveness of marketing activities;
• study of modern methods of collection, processing and analysis of secondary and primary information;
• determination of approaches to the development of a marketing research plan

  • determine the methods of analysis and forecasting of market phenomena and processes, based on the needs of market entities and the influence of factors of internal and external environments
  • know the methods and tools for collecting and analyzing the necessary secondary and primary information to solve a management problem
  • be able to substantiate approaches to the analysis of secondary and primary information and use appropriate analytical and methodological tools
  • be able to analyze the impact of the consumer behavior of the marketing system of different levels on the results of marketing activities
  • to form marketing information support for business development in conditions of uncertainty
  • be able to use software products to analyze marketing information
  • be able to use methods, techniques and tools of marketing research
